Who We Are

The National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota consists of three active boards and two staff members.  Our Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization whose members are community leaders with experience in supporting family members or friends living with Parkinson’s disease.  Board members are all are volunteers who work daily to support the organization’s mission and inspire others to participate.

Our Medical Team Advisory Board consists of movement disorder neurologists and supporting medical team members from major clinics serving the Parkinson’s community throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas.  These volunteers work together on strategic initiatives in the health care community to support patients and families. Their work and resources are featured in the Medical Corner.

Our Parkinson’s Community Advisory Board began in the Twin Cities and will soon expand throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas. Listening to the voices of Parkinson’s in our community is how we achieve our goals. These volunteers help our entire community understand the changing and growing needs of those living with Parkinson’s disease. Their insights enable us to share the story of Parkinson’s and inspire the community to deliver needed resources.
